Rock Detectives with U of M Museum of Natural History
The U of M Museum of Natural History is bringing the Museum to LTPL! In this hands-on workshop, students will learn about the rock cycle, rocks and minerals' compositions, and how rocks and minerals are used in everyday objects. Students will record observations and rotate among three different hands-on stations, each facilitated by museum staff. We will offer two sessions with a maximum of 30 students each, so please be sure to register for only one session; let us know if you are unable to attend so that we can open spots for other children. Open to Grades 2-6. Registration Required.
