Recipe Exchange
Looking for something different to spice up your fall food line up? Register for the recipe exchange and bring some new dishes to your table! Here is how it will work: when an individual registers to participate, they will draw a slip of paper which will assign a type of food they will bring: Appetizer, Dessert, Side dish, etc. They can choose any recipe, as long as it fits within the category. On the day of the exchange, samples will be brought to the library for others to try and take home. Please also bring a copy of your recipe. As the event comes closer, we will be able to contact participants about how many servings should be brought to the exchange, based on the amount of participation. The recipe should be something quick, easy, and without rare ingredients. The copy of your recipe should include the name of the cookbook as well as any personal notes you have for the recipe. Don’t forget to bring these to the recipe swap: -1 Typed, paper copy of your recipe (we will make copies for everyone during the event) -Tupperware to take home the samples others have prepared for you to try -Your samples to share! You can register for this event by messaging, calling, or visiting the library.
