Paw Paw, MI

Paw Paw is a rural village in Southwest Michigan and the county seat of Van Buren. The village is located in Michigan’s Grape Country and is known for its wine and grape products. According to the 2010 census, the population in Paw Paw is 3,534. The village was named after the pawpaw trees that had once grown along the banks of the Paw Paw River. Top attractions are Maple Island Park, Kid’s Paradise Playpark, Lake Cora Hills Golf Course, and St. Julian Winery. Paw Paw’s largest event is its annual Wine and Harvest Festival.
