October Economic Development Forum
Presentation Topic: How Ford is Reimagining Michigan Central Station Ford’s restoration of the historic Michigan Central Station as the centerpiece of a new destination in Detroit’s oldest neighborhood continues to captivate the city. The long-abandoned train station will be returned to its original grandeur – with local shops and restaurants – creating a vibrant, inclusive public space, while the tower will be transformed into modern office space. As renovations get underway and the development plan takes shape, join us for a deep dive into the project with Paula Carethers, Detroit Development Manager for Ford Motor Company. Presented by: Paula Roy Carethers Detroit Development Manager Ford Motor Land Development (Ford Land) The event is sponsored by: SMART, Oakland University and Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union. The event is free to Troy Chamber members and $10.00 for non-members. Register at troychamber.com/events. For more information call 248-641-8151 or e-mail: theteam@troychamber.com.
