How Detroit Saved the World: The Willow Run Story

Join us as Randy Holton, retired Navy pilot and board member of the Yankee Air Museum presents the story of the Willow Run bomber plant, which began with Roosevelt's call in 1940 for mobilization to build 50,000 airplanes per year. World and national events leading up to the decision to involve the auto industry in the construction of Bombers for WWII will be discussed. The presentation will also include a short history of the Yankee Air Museum.
