Happy Coast Earth Day Bash

April 22, 2018, 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Happy Coast

Arts & Culture, Educational, Music & Theater

Happy Coast, Feral Ground, and JK&WTS come together for the love of the Earth on our Mother's birthday! Happy Coast is a cruelty free, plant based mushroom compost soil & urban farm non-profit organization hosting Feral Ground and John Kay & Who's To Say for a special zero waste, Earth day event. All wine & beer (permit pending) will be sold from reusable kegs with compostable cups, which Happy Coast will gladly take home to turn into soil. This event supports Happy Coast and all of their endeavors, providing well-sourced food to their communities & preserving Michigan land. Feral Ground is the sound of change in hip hop and Detroit's roots run deep in the music that's created. Two powerful male lyricists with a message over a carefully shaped soundscape created by a group of musicians that are true students of their craft. This is no limits hip hop taken back to the basics, and rebuild from square one on a positive platform meant to brighten and inspire ours and future generations alike. Welcome to the movement, this is just the beginning. John Kay & Who's To Say: Creating & performing original, genre-defying progressive pop songs that are easy to relate to and remember and positively impacting others by delivering undeniable sensory experiences. Happy Coast will provide an info booth for more information on their non-profit & other fund raising opportunities. We strive to be a cash only event to make things a bit easier on our volunteers, we're hoping with your help we can make this possible!
