How to identify a maple tree with or without its leaves, what sap is, why sugar is in it, and what makes it flow inside a tree. All participants are allowed to try tapping a tree with the spiles and small hammer provided. To close the program on a sweet and tasty note, maple syrup is served drizzled on top of vanilla ice cream for all to enjoy (for the first 100 patrons).
